Aaron Waisler has about 7 years of experience in the broadcast journalism field. Starting out in radio as a Traffic Reporter/Producer for radio stations across the southeast, he transitioned into television news, first in the small market of Baton Rouge, Louisiana as an assignment editor for the NBC and Fox stations there. After a little less than a year there, he made the jump to the top 10 market of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, where he took on the role of assignment editor at the CBS O&O there. After a little less than 3 years, the opportunity to move back home to Atlanta came knocking. He is now a Story Desk Editor (hybrid desk and digital) with 11Alive News in Atlanta, where he not only takes on traditional assignment desk duties, but is also writing for web! Aaron has a bachelors of arts degree in radio production from Hofstra University in Long Island, NY.
