About me
Evan Hirsch helps lead OpenAI’s adoption efforts for the journalism industry, working closely with newsroom leaders and staff members, and across OpenAI’s Global Affairs and Media Partnerships teams. Before joining OpenAI, he spent more than two decades in broadcast journalism, most recently as a Senior Producer at NBC News, where he began building AI tools to support newsroom work. He previously held key editorial roles at MSNBC and CBS News, and started his career producing local television newscasts in Philadelphia, Columbus, and Syracuse.
