NLGJA 2026 National Convention

Hansen Bursic is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, journalist, and the President of the NLGJA Los Angeles Chapter. He broke into nonfiction directing documentaries in Pennsylvania with local advocacy organizations helping battle some of the first explicitly anti-transgender legislation in the state. This included The Toothmans, which won several awards, including from the Lancaster International Short Film Festival and The Foundation for the Contemporary Family.
