Most recently, they covered LGBTQ+ rights at HuffPost with a focus on the right-wing forces shaping anti-trans policy and the impact they have on LGBTQ+ communities and other marginalized groups. Their features and investigations appear online and in print with The Guardian, Mother Jones, Cal Matters, The Los Angeles Times and elsewhere. Levi first cut their teeth as a reporter at The Myanmar Times, formerly Burma’s only English language daily paper. Levi lives in their home city of Los Angeles.
