Reed Cowan is an anchor, community issues reporter and executive producer impacting community (EPIC) at CBS Bay Area. He also anchors an hour of CBS News 24/7, delivering national news coverage to audiences across the country. Before joining CBS Bay Area, Cowan was a national correspondent who covered the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Pyeongchang and Tokyo. In addition to journalism, Cowan is an accomplished filmmaker, who has directed, written and produced two films that have been screened at film festivals around the world, including the Sundance Film Festival.
