About me
Sara Mar (they/them) is the Senior Media Relations Manager at Transgender Law Center. In their role, Sara incorporates messaging research into media strategy to craft narratives for trans liberation and builds relationships with journalists to center trans voices, trans joy, and trans knowledge in our media ecosystem. Their work emphasizes the intersectional identities trans communities hold, as well as solidarity work across social justice movements. Sara has previously been a Public Voices Fellow through the OpEd Project and a reporting fellow through the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting. Sara holds a Masters in Public Health from Boston University with a focus on Health Policy & Law.
