About me
Sunny Leerasanthanah is the Director of Communications and Engagement at The Curve Foundation, where they amplify the organization's mission to develop intergenerational programming for LGBTQ+ women and nonbinary people. Previously, Sunny worked at the arts and culture consulting agency LaPlaca Cohen, where they led media planning, project management, and R&D for various arts and culture nonprofits across the country.
Sunny is also a photographer and interdisciplinary artist. Most recently, they were mentioned in the book "Fire Island Art: 100 Years" for their multi-year body of work photographing LGBTQ+ artists on the island. They received a master’s in arts administration from Columbia University and a bachelor of fine arts from Ithaca College.
